Neighbours and committed supporters of HRI

We are proud to partner with NAB as a charity banking customer and charity partner, both at head office and local level. NAB have donated over $100,000 in grants, sponsorship, workplace giving, customer fundraising, cause-related marketing and in-kind support.

Special HRI home-loan package with NAB Newtown

NAB Newtown are our neighbours and committed supporters of HRI. They offer a special home-loan package to HRI family and friends, where a percentage of each loan is donated back to the HRI to help fund life-saving research.

Workplace giving

NAB 2019 Graduates

In 2019 a committee of NAB’s graduate intake in Sydney voted on the HRI as their charity of choice and put together an impressive program of activities including office fundraising, fielding a team in the City 2 Surf, fundraising at a table tennis competition, a health check drive for World Heart Day, and an evening event. NAB Community Grant

In 2016, the HRI were proud to award our inaugural career re-start grant. The award is to acknowledge and help overcome some of the barriers women in science face – in particular, the challenge to remain competitive while on maternity leave. A grant of $60,000 was awarded to one of our Group Leaders to help her kick-start her research output on return from maternity leave by employing a research assistant. This award was made possible thanks to a NAB Community Grant.
