Memorial donations: In memory of a loved one

Give a gift to the Heart Research Institute in memory of someone special.

Giving in memory is a very special way to recognise a loved one who has passed away.

Your donation to the Heart Research Institute will leave a lasting and meaningful tribute and ensure their legacy will live on to help others.

A donation to HRI could be made in lieu of flowers, or as a way to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of a loved one.

Donations by mail

Download an In Memory donation form and complete it to let us know who the donation is in memory of, and if you’d like us to send an acknowledgement to the next of kin.

Funeral collections in lieu of flowers

If you would like to have In Memory envelopes distributed at the funeral, ask your funeral director to contact us to arrange for a supply.

Many families choose to mention these arrangements in the Funeral Notice that is placed in the newspaper, so that those wishing to make a gift in lieu of flowers can do so.

Donations by phone

You may prefer to talk to someone about making a donation in a loved one’s name. Call 0203 553 4055, and a member of our understanding team can help set up an In Memory donation and, if you wish, write an acknowledgement to the next of kin letting them know of your gift.
