Biography
Imala Alwis is a Senior Research Officer in the Thrombosis Research Group, Heart Research Institute at the Charles Perkins Centre located at The University of Sydney. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees at Wichita State University in Kansas, USA. Prior to working at HRI, he was a part of the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases at Monash University. He has extensive experience in imaging, specialising in intravital microscopy. His work has recently been published in journals such as Blood, Nature Communications and Science Translational Medicine.
