Biography
Julia Stamme is a visiting Research Intern with the Cardiovascular Regeneration under the supervision of Associate Professor Carmine Gentile. She is currently completing her BSc (Maastricht Science Programme) at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, with a specialisation in Regenerative Medicine and Biotechnology.
Her research internship involves the investigation of cardiotoxicity and cardioprotection using advanced bioengineered cardiac tissues, such as in vitro vascularised cardiac spheroids. The aim of her project is to advance ongoing research in the Cardiovascular Regeneration group, while acquiring technical expertise in a leading laboratory in this field.
